Now's the Time: Ernie Krivda
The late jazz critic and cantankerous cartoonist Harvey Pekar suggested that the tenor saxophonist Ernie Krivda languishes in relative obscurity only because he opted to live in Cleveland. Jazz aficionados in Kansas City can gauge Krivda’s worth for themselves during his rare area appearance at the Blue Room on Friday, April 1.
